Spider plant - Chlorophytum comosum
DescriptionChlorophytum comosum, often called spider plant but also known as airplane plant, St. Bernard's lily, spider ivy, ribbon plant, and hen and chickens is a species of perennial flowering plant. They’re hardy plants with attractive ribbons of variegated foliage and make a great indoor or hanging basket plant. They even enjoy being pot bound!
Use for specimen planting in garden beds, containers, patio pots. Small white star shaped flowers appear in loose clusters on the stems up-to 2m long (max). Alongside flowers blooming small plant-lets grow, that can be detached and re-potted to produce more spider plants.
